Kyrie Et Lacrymosa

It is here
In this quiet dark hour
That my voice is silenced
That my heart is broken
That my wrist are bled red
Without a trace of an humour
I close my eyes
And let the silence
Flood my soul

Semper puer sin sanguin
Semper monta sin pontum
Semper sin sola nolum
Semper possus nolus sin tus pontus

Here it comes

Thunder rumble
Rumble through my soul
Skies bleed
Bleed down my skin
And soak my hair
Hands fail
Fail to hold up the crumbling ruins
Fall
Fall
Fall
You ruins around me
Crack you marble
Splinter you beams
Crumble to dust
All the works of man
All the lives you have built
All the dreams you poured out
Set out
Built up
Let them all
Let them all rumble
Crumble under the sky
As the rains fall down
And rivulets run
And the flood begins
Here it comes
It comes
Nearer
Nearer

Hold on

The pillars will fall
The foundation is cracked
The walls are tumbling
Your nightmare is real
Your dreams are dead
They died with her
They will die forever more
The crumbling walls
Here they make your crypt
And as the light from flashing lighting
And the wet ivy falling with the tumbling stones
As the world caves in around you
What will you do?
What will you do now?

Here it comes
The flood comes
Let it in
Let it begin
The towering wall of water
Here it comes
The rumbling stampede of waves
Here it comes
The quaking earth beneath it
Here it comes
The Empty ruins forsaken
Here it comes

And the water comes
And the water comes
And the water comes
And washes you away

And the river runs
And the river runs
And the river runs
Right on through you

Through where your heart once was
Through where you once knew love

With the crashing waves
With the crashing waves
With the empty words
In your bleeding ears

When the river runs
And the rains beat your face
Into the dust with shame
Where will you be?
Do you even know?
Where will you cry?
Where will the eyes of this cold world not find you?

Here it comes
The rains and the flood
Your falling pillars
Your crumbling marble
Your dying dreams

Are you ready?

To the Flame

There is a languid flame
Which burns at the heart
And sees no touch of rain
The dry dust aches
And Ceres still searches for her daughter
While the great Fury
Let loose by Aries' blood hands
Set hold upon the heart flame
And with warm breath
Breathed the flame into inferno
And the flames rose
And the smoke rose
And the sparks were in his eyes
And the heart rose
And the heart died
And the pyre would not hold it

Tantulus wept as Zeus for Sarpedon
While the tongue of Lavinia crept on the floor
All that was once so green and alive
Blasted brittle and yellow by Thanatos' breath
And all caught fire
And all did burn
And all was given
To the flame

Cry of the Solitary Heart

All the others have grown silent
No companion to remain
All the words are now unspoken
Unheard, untaken, just dying
And the weight pains me
Drags me deep into the morass
While fleeting moments of light
Wholly unbroken by my pale shade
Break when black holes for eyes
Pierce the skin already shattered
Cracks the seams not yet healed
With the emptiness

Again

I let it linger too long
Again, again
Let my heart beat too long
Again, again
And now I feel it so strong
Again, again
Is it so wrong?
So wrong?
Again?
Again.

I let it sink it so deep
So deep, so long
I let it break up
Apart, again, so long
And I can't keep it
Together, for long, for long
Can't keep repeating
again, for long, so long
Again?
Again.

Can't you see it?
So long, so wrong,
Again.
Can't you feel it?
I tried,
to speak
again
and again.
Each day is a battle
A fight to the end
The end
And I can't have you be there
Against me
Again and again

Can't you feel it
so long, so long, again
Can't you hear me
I'm trying
Again and again
And I won't beat it
In the end, the end
If you can't see this
My friend
my friend
the end
so long
again

Unfinished Again

This compass is spinning
Its needle is not still
Is never still
Spins on and round
And won't slow down
Speeding up
Taking off
Breathing in the fresh smell
of the new emptiness
That says nothing will be well
That all the richest food
And the sweetest wine
Turns to ash in your mouth
As we smell the sour in the air
Of our unspoken words
Where we...
