Painting skies

Who painted to sky such a color
Who poured azure into the air
Who spread it around the edges
Without even a shadow of a cloud
You painted the sky this color
You poured it from fathomless depths
Your lovely hand was the paintbrush
Because with you there is no shifting shadow
I sat and drank in your color
I sat and drank your azure skies
I sat and smiled at the heavens
And recalled all good gifts still come from you
